My healing journey has unfolded in surprising and deeply satisfying ways. I went to massage school in the early 1990s, but before I had even finished my training I knew I wanted to know more about psychology and its impact on the body. this led me to get my master’s degree in counseling/psychology and to study psychosynthesis, a transpersonal approach to counseling that has deeply and profoundly influenced my life and my work for more than 30 years. Further study led me to energy medicine, energy psychology, working at the level of the soul, and to other psycho-spiritual disciplines.
I have trained and been certified in the following techniques: Comprehensive Energy Psychology, Eden Energy Medicine, Mind Field Repatterning, Court of Atonement, Psychosynthesis, and Regeneration Healing. In addition to my master's degree in counseling/psychology I have studied many spiritual-energetic modalities including Spiritual Response Therapy, Body Code, BioGeometry, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Emotional Freedom Techniques, and Eminus Mirus.
My journey
I have worked with clients in both private and community mental health settings, and for nine years I was the Director of the Counseling Center at Elms College in Chicopee, MA. I have extensive experience with LGBT populations, and I welcome clients of all sexual orientations and gender expressions.
Please be advised that although I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, I do not provide any psychotherapy services in my Integrative Energy practice.
In addition to a daily energy self-care routine, I love contra dancing, the coast of Maine, working in my garden, and taking an active role in living a conscious, purposeful life. I am committed to meeting the challenges of life with compassion and curiosity, and I encourage and invite my clients to do the same.
